St Sava Mission is looking for a part-time maintenance worker. The position is 20 hours a week with opportunity to work more hours. Flexible job hours. The ideal candidate is self motivated and able to accomplish tasks without close supervision.
Duties include but are not limited to:

cleaning assigned areas, emptying trash, sweeping and mopping,
general cleaning of the grounds

general landscaping duties - mowing, trimming and hedging using a riding mower and other power tools

pool maintenance
-
painting
-
cleaning gutters
-
plumbing, electrical and general repairs to furniture and buildings.

arranging with contractors as needed for work that cannot be completed by employees or volunteers
-
this position requires the employee to work some evenings and holidays – as needed
The position is year round and particularly busy during the summer months. Great long-term job for semi-retired individual (or couple) looking to keep busy. Persons of any age are encouraged to apply.
Compensation includes accommodations on site with all utilities, Internet and laundry included + $800/month. Meals will be provided during the Summer Camps. Hourly rate for more than 20hrs/wk is $12. Please provide professional and character references.
