The Finance Program Coordinator is responsible for completing financial and accounting processes as they relate to the various projects, financial data, budgets and donor reports. The Finance Program Coordinator is also part of the financial review team that evaluates compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
I. Responsibilities and Essential Functions
1. Work closely with the Finance Program Manager
2. Run financial reports for Programs Dept. and Donor Services
3. Work with Programs to update reporting Matrix for all projects
4. Administrator for the accounting package with respect to project accounting
5. Ensure project budgets are entered into accounting system
6. Review Project budgets for submission to donors
7. Review Headquarter workpapers
8. Prepare various annual and quarterly registrations
9. Preparation of annual Form 990
10. Tasks as assigned for the annual audit
11. Review journal entries
12. Analysis on non-program costs
13. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
14. Insurance policies: renewals, adequate coverage, application
15. Monitor and record inventory movement
16. Participate in the review of project activity with the programs department
17. Work closely with the field finance staff
18. Maintain controls over cash activity for projects
19. Other duties as assigned
